Alvedon effervescent tablets contain paracetamol, which is a pain reliever and fever reducer. For adults and children over 40 kg.

Alvedon is used for fever, e.g. in case of colds. Alvedon is also used against aches and pains of various kinds, e.g. headache, toothache, menstrual pain, muscle pain and rheumatic pain. 
Alvedon can be used by people with a sensitive stomach or ulcers and people with an increased tendency to bleed.

Dosage & use

Note! Doses higher than those recommended mean a risk of very serious liver damage.

Always dissolve the effervescent tablet in at least ½ glass of water.

If your doctor has not given you a different dosage, you should follow the dosage below:

Adults and children over 40 kg (from about 12 years):
1-2 effervescent tablets every 4-6 hours, a maximum of 8 effervescent tablets per day.
Alvedon should not be used for long-term use other than on a doctor's prescription.
Alvedon effervescent tablets are not suitable for people prescribed a low-salt diet. Alvedon effervescent tablets should not be used for long-term use other than on a doctor's prescription.

For children, Alvedon oral solution or suppositories can be recommended.

Active ingredient: Paracetamol 500 mg. Other ingredients: Anhydrous citric acid, sodium bicarbonate, anhydrous sodium carbonate, povidone, saccharin sodium (sweetener), sodium chloride, sodium lauryl sulfate, sodium citrate, magnesium stearate and flavor (citrus).
