Alvedon, film-coated tablet 500 mg can be used for mild pain (e.g. headache ) and as an antipyretic for e.g. a cold . Not recommended for children under 3 years. The effect of pain relief with Alvedon normally lasts for 4-5 hours.

Alvedon contains the active substance paracetamol. Paracetamol can be used by people with a sensitive stomach or an increased tendency to bleed. The tablet is film-coated, which makes it easier to swallow. Dosage & use

Note! Doses higher than those recommended mean a risk of very serious liver damage. Alvedon should not be used for long-term use other than on a doctor's prescription.

If your doctor has not given you a different dosage, follow the dosage below.

Adults and children over 40 kg (from 12 years):
1-2 tablets every 4-6 hours, maximum 8 tablets per day.

Children:
For children, the dosage should primarily be calculated according to the child's weight.
Children 25-40 kg (approx. 7-12 years): ½-1 tablet every 4-6 hours, maximum 4 tablets per day.
Children 15-25 kg (approx. 3-7 years): ½ tablet every 4-6 hours, maximum 2 tablets per day.

Alvedon tablet 500 mg is not recommended for children weighing less than 15 kg, choose Alvedon oral solution insteador Alvedon suppositories.

Do not use Alvedon for children for more than 2 days unless the doctor prescribes otherwise.
