Alvedon Novum 500 mg is a film-coated tablet that contains paracetamol and is a pain reliever and fever reducer.

What distinguishes Alvedon Novum from regular Alvedon is that Alvedon Novum has a specific patented composition with Optizorb technology that begins to provide rapid pain relief within only 15-20 minutes.

Alvedon Novum can be used for the relief of aches and pains of various kinds, for example headaches, toothaches, period pains, joint pains and muscle pains. Alvedon Novum is also antipyretic, e.g. in case of colds. The pain-relieving effect from Alvedon Novum lasts up to 4-5 hours.

Alvedon Novum can be used by people with a sensitive stomach and people with an increased tendency to bleed.

For adults and children from 12 years. Always read the package insert carefully before use.

Dosage & use

ATTENTION! Doses higher than those recommended mean a risk of very serious liver damage.
Never take more Alvedon Novum than is stated under the dosage instructions. Always use the lowest possible dose that gives you relief from your symptoms, for as short a treatment period as possible.

Adults and adolescents over 40 kg (over 12 years):
1-2 tablets every 4-6 hours, maximum 8 tablets per day.
Contact a doctor if symptoms worsen or do not improve within 3 days for fever and 5 days for pain.

Children:
For children, the dose should be given based on the child's weight (the age indication is approximate):
Children 15-25 kg (approx. 3-7 years): ½ tablet every 4-6 hours, maximum 2 tablets per day.
Children 25-40 kg (approx. 7-12 years): ½-1 tablet every 4-6 hours, maximum 4 tablets per day.
Do not use Alvedon Novum for children under 12 years of age for more than 2 days, unless a doctor prescribes otherwise.

The active substance is paracetamol, 500 mg. Other ingredients: pregelatinized starch, calcium carbonate, alginic acid, crospovidone, povidone, magnesium stearate, colloidal anhydrous silica, titanium dioxide (E171), hypromellose, macrogol, polysorbate 80, carnauba wax.

Alvedon Novum's packaging is 100% recyclable. The outer packaging is made of paper and the tablets are in a completely recyclable blister made of polypropylene plastic.
