Alvedon, orodispersible tablet 250 mg contains paracetamol, which is a pain reliever and fever reducer. For children between 15-40 kg, approx. 3-12 years. Alvedon is used for fever, e.g. in case of colds. Alvedon is also used against aches and pains of various kinds, e.g. headache, toothache, menstrual pain, muscle pain and rheumatic pain. 

Alvedon can be used by people with a sensitive stomach or ulcers and people with an increased tendency to bleed.
The tablet has a strawberry flavor and contains 12 tablets.

Dosage & use

Note! Doses higher than those recommended mean a risk of very serious liver damage.

If your doctor has not given you a different dosage, you must follow the dosage in the table below.
For children, the dosage should primarily be calculated according to the child's weight.

Children 15-25 kg (approx. 3-7 years):
1 tablet 250 mg every 4-6 hours, maximum 4 tablets per day.

Children 25-40 kg (approx. 7-12 years):
1-2 tablets 250 mg every 4-6 hours, maximum 8 tablets per day.

Children under 6 years of age:
Dissolve the tablet in a spoonful of water before giving it to the child.

Children over 6 years:
Let the tablet melt on the tongue and then swallow immediately. No water is needed. The tablet should not be chewed.
The tablet can also be dissolved in about ½ glass of water. Stir well.
Do not use Alvedon for children for more than 2 days without consulting a doctor.

Active ingredient: Paracetamol 250 mg. Other ingredients: Mannitol 419 mg, crospovidone, aspartame, magnesium stearate, polymethacrylates, colloidal anhydrous silica and flavoring (strawberry flavor containing vanillin).
