Bepanthen ointment is used to prevent and protect against the occurrence of mild skin irritations and superficial cracks in the skin that can occur due to dry skin. Bepanthen ointment contains dexpanthenol, which is converted to vitamin B5 (pantothenic acid) in the skin. Dexpanthenol promotes the building up of the outer skin layer.
The ointment is especially suitable for baby care and can be used with advantage after each nappy change. Bepanthen ointment can also be applied to the nipples after breastfeeding. Other areas of use are as emollients for skin and dry lips and for mild sunburn.
Can be used for both adults and children. Use on the affected skin area once or several times daily.
Unscented and free from preservatives and dyes.
