Cetimax is used in adults and children from 6 years of age for allergic problems in the nose and eyes.

Cetirizine dihydrochloride is the active substance in Cetimax which belongs to a group of medicines called systemic antihistamines, which are used against allergy (hypersensitivity).

Dosage & use

The tablets should be swallowed with a glass of liquid.

Adults and adolescents over 12 years:
10 mg (1 tablet) once daily

Children between 6 and 12 years:
5 mg (half a tablet) twice daily.
Content

The active substance is cetirizine dihydrochloride. One film-coated tablet contains 10 mg of cetirizine dihydrochloride. Other ingredients are microcrystalline cellulose, pregelatinized starch, croscarmellose sodium, colloidal anhydrous silica, magnesium stearate, polydextrose, hypromellose, titanium dioxide (E 171), macrogol.
