|Dosage & use||
The tablets should be swallowed whole with a glass of liquid.
Adults and adolescents over 12 years of age: 10 mg once daily as 1 tablet.
Children between 6 and 12 years: 5 mg 2 times daily as ½ tablet 2 times daily.
Contact a doctor if symptoms worsen or do not improve within 14 days. If you need to use Cetirizine Sandoz for more than 14 weeks, it is good if you contact a doctor.
The active substance in Cetirizine Sandoz is cetirizine dihydrochloride.
One film-coated tablet contains 10 mg of cetirizine dihydrochloride.
Other ingredients are:
Tablet core: microcrystalline cellulose, LACTOSE monohydrate, magnesium stearate, anhydrous colloidal silicon dioxide.
Tablet coating: hypromellose, LACTOSE monohydrate, macrogol 4000, titanium dioxide (E 171).
