Hydrocortisone Evolan ointment is a mild-acting hydrocortisone cream that has an anti-inflammatory and anti-itch effect. Hydrocortisone Evolan is used for mild eczema caused by e.g. soap, cleaning agents, cosmetics, insect bites and sunburn.

The hydrocortisone ointment can, after a doctor’s prescription, also be used for other types of problems. The hydrocortisone ointment must not be used on wounds or around the eyes or on children under 2 years of age without a doctor’s recommendation.

Dosage & use

Apply a thin layer morning and evening or as prescribed by a doctor.

After 3-4 days, the number of applications with Hydrocortisone Evolan can usually be reduced and the treatment alternated with a softening cream.

Hydrocortisone must not be used on wounds or around the eyes.

If symptoms have not improved after 1 week, consult a doctor for advice.
