Usual dosage is
Lecrolyn 20 mg/ml: 1-2 drops in each eye 4 times a day for adults and children.
Lecrolyn 40 mg/ml: 1-2 drops in each eye 2 times a day for adults and children.

The treatment begins at the first symptoms and lasts throughout the pollen season, but for over-the-counter self-treatment for a maximum of 30 days. Contact a doctor if there is no improvement within a couple of days.

One single-dose container is sufficient for treatment of both eyes.

Instructions
for use -Wash your hands before use.
-Sit down in front of a mirror so you can see what you are doing.
-Remove the screw cap from the bottle./ Twist off the top of the single-dose container
-Ensure that the tip of the bottle does not come into contact with other objects, as this may contaminate the contents.
-Hold the bottle upside down in one hand between the thumb and middle finger./ Hold the single-dose container upside down in one hand between the thumb and index finger
-Pull out the lower eyelid of the affected eye using the index finger of the other hand.
-Place the bottle's dropper/single-dose container close to the eye but not in contact with it. Lightly press the bottom of the bottle/squeeze the single-dose container with your index finger so that one or two drops fall into the space between the eye and the eyelid.
-Release the lower eyelid, blink a few times and close the eye for 1-2 minutes, so that the medicine can be more easily absorbed by the eye.
Repeat above if the other eye is also to be treated. Put the cover on and screw it tight. Throw away used single-dose containers.

The eye drop bottle is personal. If the eye symptoms do not improve within 2 days, or only affect one eye, a doctor should be contacted.
