Livostin eye drops are used as short-term treatment to relieve symptoms of pollen allergy . Many people suffer from red, itchy, watery and swollen eyes during the warmer months of the year due to a marked increase in the spread of pollen. It is histamine that causes these typical eye problems and Livostin helps counteract the allergic reaction by blocking the effect of histamine in particular. The product works after about 15 minutes. For adults and children. Children should be diagnosed by a doctor.

Livostin eye drops contain the preservative benzalkonium chloride, which can cause eye irritation and discolour soft contact lenses. Soft contact lenses should therefore not be used at the same time as this product. If you must use soft contact lenses, these should be removed before use and then you should wait at least 15 minutes after administration before reinserting the lenses.

Dosage & use

For non-prescription treatment of pollen allergy, the dosage for most adults and children with mild to moderate symptoms is 1 drop in each eye 2 times daily. If necessary, the dose can be given up to 4 times daily. Continue the treatment as long as you have problems with your allergy in the eyes. Contact a doctor if you do not get an effect from the medicine within a few days.

An opened bottle may be used for a maximum of one month.
Instructions for use
Shake the bottle well and unscrew the cap. Remove the sealing ring when opening the bottle for the first time.
Bend your head back.
Press the bottom of the bottle and carefully drip a drop into the corner of the eye. Blink while pulling down the lower eyelid, so that the drop is distributed over the entire eye.
Do the same in the other eye.

To avoid contaminating the bottle, avoid contact with the eye.

Active substance: levocabastine hydrochloride, equivalent to 0.5 mg levocabastine/ml. Other ingredients: propylene glycol, polysorbate 80, sodium dihydrogen phosphate, disodium hydrogen phosphate, disodium edetate, hypromellose, benzalkonium chloride 0.15 mg/ml. (preservative) and water.
