Livostin nasal spray is used for allergic rhinitis, so-called rhinitis, which can cause nasal congestion, itching and/or runny nose. Livostin nasal spray blocks the effect of histamine in the nose. Histamine is the substance that is released in the body during allergic reactions and it can cause, for example, runny nose, nasal congestion and itching in the nose. The effect of Livostin begins after about 15 minutes.

For adults and children. Children should be diagnosed by a doctor.

Dosage & use

Usual dose for adults and children is 2 puffs in each nostril 2 times daily. Continue the treatment as long as you have problems with your allergy in the nose.
Doctors may prescribe a different dosage. Contact a doctor if you do not get an effect from the medicine within a few days.

Instructions
for use Pick your nose.
Shake the bottle and remove the protective cap.
Before first use, pump a couple of times into the air until a nice shower is obtained.
Bend your head slightly forward. Hold one nostril and insert the spray into the other nostril.
Spray 2 times and at the same time draw in a little air through the nose. Repeat in the other nostril.
Content

The active substance is levocabastine hydrochloride, corresponding to 50 micrograms of levocabastine/dose. Other ingredients are propylene glycol, polysorbate 80, sodium dihydrogen phosphate, disodium hydrogen phosphate, disodium edetate, hypromellose, preservative (benzalkonium chloride) and purified water.
