Mommox is a cortisone nasal spray that is used in adults over 18 years of age to treat runny nose and nasal congestion caused by allergies to, for example, pollen (so-called hay fever), animals or dust.
Mommox nasal spray can also be used for runny nose, nasal congestion and sneezing without an allergic cause (so-called vasomotor rhinitis), but not for common colds.

Dosage & use

Dosage for adults from 18 years of age is 2 sprays in each nostril once a day. When a good effect has been achieved, the dose can be reduced to 1 spray in each nostril once a day. Do not exceed this dosage.
In some patients, Mommox Nasal Spray should begin to relieve symptoms 12 hours after the first dose. However, it is possible that the full effect of the treatment is only seen after two days.

If you have not improved after 14 days of regular use, consult a doctor.
Do not use Mommox nasal spray for more than 3 months without consulting a doctor.

If you are pregnant or breast-feeding, think you may be pregnant or plan to have a baby, ask your doctor or pharmacist for advice before using this medicine.
Content

The active substance is mometasone furoate. Each spray with the pump delivers a metered dose containing 50 micrograms of mometasone furoate (as mometasone furoate monohydrate).
Other ingredients are microcrystalline cellulose and carmellose sodium, glycerol, citric acid monohydrate, sodium citrate dihydrate, polysorbate 80, benzalkonium chloride and water for injection.
