Naproxen Orifarm is used for mild to moderate acute pain, for example headache, acute attacks of migraine, toothache, muscle and joint pain, backache and menstrual pain. Naproxen Orifarm can be used for short-term use up to 5 days for pain and 3 days for fever or migraine without a doctor’s consultation.

Naproxen Orifarm belongs to a group of medicines called NSAIDs (non-steroidal anti-inflammatory drugs). They are anti-inflammatory, pain-relieving and fever-reducing. The anti-inflammatory effect is due to naproxen reducing the formation of harmful substances (prostaglandins), which are formed during inflammation and tissue damage. The pain-relieving effect is thought to be due to a similar mechanism.

Dosage & use

Adults:
For pain: 1 tablet as needed, but no more than 2 tablets (500 mg) per day.
For acute attacks of migraine: 3 tablets at signs of an incipient attack, then 1 tablet as needed, but no more than 5 tablets per day. Contact a doctor if Naproxen Orifarm has not helped your migraine within 3 days.

Children over 12 years of age:
For pain: 1 tablet as needed, but no more than 2 tablets (500 mg) per day

. Without a doctor's prescription, Naproxen Orifarm should be used for no more than 5 consecutive days for pain and 3 consecutive days for migraine.

Doses higher than recommended can carry serious risks. Do not use different painkillers at the same time without a doctor's prescription. Contact a doctor if symptoms worsen or do not improve.

Not recommended for children under 12 years of age.
