Nasaline nasal rinse

The nasal rinse Nasaline is a unique tool developed for effective, gentle and simple rinsing of the entire nasal cavity. With Nasaline, you can easily and safely rinse your nose with salt water for e.g. colds, sinus infections, allergies and irritated nose due to stay in a dry, dusty or smoky environment. The irritation in the nose is reduced and the mucous membranes are moisturized.

Nasal irrigation with salt water is a well-proven method and can be used for repeated irrigations. The nasal rinse Nasaline was developed in Sweden and is patented in more than 20 countries including Sweden and the USA and is a registered medical device class I (CE). Feel free to buy Nasaline Salt for mixing physiological salt water. Nasal irrigation should never be done with clean water without added salt, as ordinary clean water irritates the mucous membrane and is experienced as very unpleasant when rinsing.

Dosage & use

You can rinse as often as you like, but it is practical to rinse 1-3 times a day with at least 2 rinses in each nostril at each rinse. Use water at body temperature for a pleasant rinse.

Never rinse with regular tap water. It stings and is uncomfortable. Use a saline solution with 0.9% sodium chloride.

There are special bags with completely pure salt (Nasaline Salt) where a bag of salt is stirred into 250 ml of clean (drinkable) water. You can also stir a teaspoon of ordinary table salt (table salt, sodium chloride) into half a liter of body-warm clean (drinkable) water.

The manufacturer recommends that you replace your Nasaline nasal rinse after 3 months of use. This is to prevent bacteria from forming in the nasal rinse, which can happen with prolonged use.
