| Dosage & use | Adults: 1 tablet 3 times daily Children 10-14 years: 1/2 tablet 3 times daily. Do not give to children under 10 without a doctor's prescription. Instead, choose Nipaxon oral suspension 2.5 mg/ml or 5 mg/ml, which can be given from the age of 2 or 4, respectively. Swallow the tablets whole. Other dose according to doctor's prescription. All Nipaxon preparations should be taken between meals. In some people, noscapine can cause intense abdominal/chest pains ½-4 hours after ingestion. The pain goes away by itself after 1-3 hours. |
