Dosage & use | Adults and the elderly: 1 teaspoon St. John's wort Salus herbal tea is made into tea and taken morning and evening. The tea should be prepared as follows: Pour boiling water (approx. 150 ml) over 1 teaspoon (5 ml) of herbal tea and let steep for 5-10 minutes, after which the plant material is strained away and the tea is drunk. Not recommended for children and adolescents under 18 years of age, nor pregnant and breastfeeding women. If symptoms persist or worsen after 2 weeks of treatment, a doctor should be contacted. St. John's wort Salus can impair the ability to react, which should be considered at times when increased attention is required, for example when driving a car. The risk of side effects may increase if you combine St. John's wort Salus with certain antidepressants (serotonin reuptake inhibitors) and anti-migraine agents (triptans). Therefore, consult your doctor before using this preparation together with these medicines. |
